How to improvise a Lavvu/Tepee shelter with cheap materials

In this new video I show you how to make a conical shelter (similar to the Lavvu or Tepee) with inexpensive materials.

You need only two 2×3 meters tarps sealed together with duct tape, a space blanket and a trash bag.

I hope you like that simple idea!

Cheers

Mattia

  1. Hello Mattia! A most interesting video. The materials you used: two tarps, a space blanket, and a trash bag, would all do a good job of reflecting the heat from your fire back into your shelter. It probably wouldn’t be too hard to close the entrance with an extra trash bag or space blanket too, for extra warmth. Also, you clearly camp in style! A panino would make a much more satisfying meal in the bush than the survival rations they sell in stores!
