Welcome back brother! Long time no post! As a matter of fact, I’ve been on a poncho/tarp shelter kick here lately. This video hit the spot. Keep them coming!

Hello brother!
Many thanks I appreciate a lot your kind words!
Yes I didn’t write so much in this period because I’m active on Instagram!
I miss this platform and friends here, I hope to update it with some new posts.
Cheers Mattia

Hello brother!
It’s great to hear from you. In fact, just a few days ago I was thinking about how much I used to enjoy reading your posts. I hope you post more in the near future!
Also, thanks for the demonstration about the Pentagon Shelter. It seems like it’d be a great summer shelter, although it looks a little thin for the winter. Do you find it’s a good shelter for cold weather? (When I say cold, I’m thinking of below 0º Celsius).

Oh many thanks my friend!
You are always very kind!
Thank for your support !
I don’t know about that… it’s in silnylon so the advantage is that is very very lightweight … for cold weather I think it’s better something in canvas or with a better insulation.
I know that Begadi makes also tarp with a reflective surface and heavier than this.
I can say also that if you setup the pentagon shelter with three poles you can make a fire in front of it you can heat it very well!
Ciao !
Best wishes !
See you soon Brother !

Thanks Mattia! I like the fact that the shelter is very very lightweight! Most of the camping I do is in warm weather, so it’d probably suit me pretty well. I’ll probably have to use something heavier for winter though.

Something made with oilcloth canvas 😉! Recently I found also Polarmond tents that are tested in extreme conditions but also very expensive

That’s the problem with the tents designed for extreme conditions: they’re expensive! It’s possible to have a simple tarp or canvas and then fortify it with natural materials (such as evergreen bows) to make it warmer. But I hate to break off live branches if I can avoid it!

Today a guy of Instagram suggested me another brand very interesting for you too:

Hello Mattio
I ordered some of the pentagon shelters from SarahCN website, is that you?
I have not received items and tracking reference provided has apparen5l6 gone to different address. I have been chasing Chinese contact but neither they or you are responding, please advise, I’m keen to get these shelters.
Thanks,
Richard
